THE BRAND
Maison Botamorphose was founded in 2022 by Designer Artisan Pavlina Stemberkova in the South of France.
Our concept is that of transformation, metamorphosis, botanical shapes and colors through quality leather creations.
We create hand-sewn and tanned pieces that can be renovated, cared for and repaired over time.
We meet the needs of a demanding clientele looking for the accessory of their desires, which can last a lifetime, if not longer.

THE CREATOR
I am Pavlina and introduce myself as your original Artisan Designer from South Bohemia in the Czech Republic.
The land of my native village is a great source of inspiration for my work. It is during the transition of the seasons, these periodic changes, that my most beautiful inspirations come.
I remember since my early childhood always being in awe of the perfect symbiosis between fauna and flora.
Nature has always been a big part of my upbringing. From my childhood we were taught to respect it, protect it & love it.
It brings shapes, colors and textures to an endless library. What could be simpler than appropriating this magnificent palette in order to botamorphose?
She always remained in my inspiration even after moving to France.
I have been living on the French Riviera since 2015 and studied Fashion Design at the Ecole de Condé in Nice.
I then learned to transcribe these sources of inspiration through my drawings and creations. Once my studies were completed, I seized the opportunity to work and learn alongside Alexis Pointet in his wonderful Cordonnerie du Vieux Nice. Thanks to this experience, I found the medium with which I wish to experiment and create, which is leather, while caring for it and giving it a second life.
Restoring luxury brand pieces, some of which are over 100 years old, was an incredible discovery of the living aspect of leather, its weather resistance, its durability and its strength.
The French Riviera
THE WORKSHOP
It is located on the French Riviera, in the splendid & charming village of Vence, surrounded by mountains and sea.
This village is a must-see place for artists and artisans who have taken up residence here; we find many workshops in these Provençal streets.
The perfect location between the sea and the mountains offers us both the source of inspiration needed in the creation of your accessories, access to local suppliers in Nice and on the Italian border.
